Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate and captain of the 2012's Fierce Five, and the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics at London. She also took home a bronze medal on balance beam. In 2012, she became the first American athlete to achieve the highest number of medals in the Olympics. The 2016 Olympics brought her the gold medal in the team event. This earned both she as well as Gabby the distinction of being the only Americans ever to win consecutive team golds. Silver medals were also awarded at the all-around event and floor exercise. In the three years between the Olympic Games she won the athlete took a break. Also, she was a part of gold-winning American squads at the two World Championships. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. Her favorite sport is floor workouts. Aly participates in The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in memory and honor of her grandmother. She hopes to build a career in fashion. Aly would like to expand her line of leotards and socks. She is writing a book entitled Fierce to be published later this year.
